We are blesses with good health and we see our children healthy and full of spirit. However, we also see young children and adults who are handicap and/or with physical defects and less blessed in life and are exposed to the Daily struggles of survival. I just want to help in my own small way. If I can help by making them happy, even for a brief moment then hopefully in those moments, they will be able to smile and forget their inequities.

I have always believed in angels—the ethereal creatures from the heavens above. But I also believe in humanity’s ability to become angels for one another. In fact, I think that more than anything, angels are here on earth to do just that — to make angels of us, to bring us together in love.

I like to think of the Center for Possibilities, Inc. as a catalyst to this kind of event; as a venue for love. The wonderful thing about the Center for Possibilities, Inc. is that it allows us to be with angels, as well as be angels for others. Children with special needs are angels because they touch our lives with their innocence and sincerity, and remind us that authentic love is possible in this world. We, in turn, become angels when we allow the children to inspire us to go out of ourselves and give.

Whenever I see the people of the Center for Possibilities, Inc., I am overwhelmed. It is always a pleasure to witness people love so selflessly and with complete abandon. You exhibit love that transcends even that of the motherly kind. Your work goes beyond meeting the needs of just your child. Rather, you work so that every special child be given his chance at a bright future. If that is not the work of angels, I do not know what is.

The center for possibilities is basically for and about special children with special needs. accordingly, i joined the center for possibilities primarily because of my wife who is a lover of kids. this is my way of sharing in her passion and fondness for children.

Equally-important, i believe that, regardless of their varying mental, intellectual, psychological and/or physical attributes, children are the same in that, in their tender and formative years, they all need the utmost love, affection, care, guidance and tutelage of their older counterparts in order to become worthy and productive individuals in the future.

By being part of the center for possibilities, i hopefully achieve two things and thus hit two birds with one stone , in a manner of speaking. not only do i make my wife proud and happy, i also put myself in a position where i could help in the proper raising of children - special ones at that- so that they, too could in the long run become able partners, in their own special ways, in the task of making this world a better and more harmonous place to live in.
